Drinks in an igloo, a night at the theatre and mulled wine at a traditional market – there’s an endless choice of festive treats in Birmingham this Christmas, all within a short walk of the Mailbox and its safe and secure 24 hour car park.

Whilst the crowds gather in the evening, here’s a Christmas life-hack; why not arrive early at Birmingham’s festive favourite, The Frankfurt Christmas Market, for a spot of lunch before heading out to enjoy the city? There’s bratwurst aplenty and a mug of mulled wine to kick-start your stay.

As evening approaches, enjoy cocktails and a canal-side meal at the Mailbox. A glittering dining location centred on Birmingham’s famous canals, with cuisines to suit every pallet: From stellar seasonal produce at Tom’s Kitchen led by Head Chef Tom Wells, to casual dining at a selection of well-known names like Côte and Miller & Carter.

Curtain up! Birmingham’s selection of theatres are guaranteed to provide an evening of entertainment worthy of a standing ovation. Be ‘spotted’ at Birmingham Repertory’s production of The Hundred and One Dalmatians, or race over to Birmingham Hippodrome ‘before the clock strikes 12’ for their starry production of Cinderella with names like Beverley Knight and Danny Mac leading the show. Alternatively, take in a selection of carol concerts and orchestral performances at the city’s world-renowned Symphony Hall.

Wind down from an action-packed day by hiring a party igloo at Gas Street Social. Located waterside; these cosy private pods are the perfect place to unwind under the stars complete with Yorkshire blankets and antler lamps.
