From luxury shopping to canal-side dining, you can really spend hours enjoying all Mailbox has to offer. Here’s our favourite ways to take you from morning through to the evening with style.

Tuck into French-inspired dishes for the perfect brunch, served from 8am until noon Monday-Friday and 9am-1pm on the weekend. Choose from a range of cooked classics, including a full English, veggie breakfast and eggs Benedict or plump for crêpe complete with bacon and Gruyere cheese.

Satisfy your love for designer labels with our impressive selection of high fashion brands. Treat yourself to the latest designer arm candy at Harvey Nichols or pop into Paul Smith, Burrows & Hare, English Brands, Emporio Armani, BOSS, Gieves & Hawkes and James Lakeland for the new season must-haves. Visit Level 1 and discover a selection of leading home stores including MADE.COM, Heal’s, BoConcept, Sofas & Stuff, Castle Fine Art and Kitchen Gallery.

From a quick fix to an all-day escape, Le Petit Spa at Malmaison offers an indulgent sanctuary … just what you need after all that retail therapy. The luxurious Malmasion spa boasts a Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and experience shower while the skilled therapists will whisk your mind you away from the demands of modern life using relaxing ESPA treatments.

The perfect aperitivo whets the appetite before your main meal, so Harvey Nichols has paired together a range of mouth-watering dishes and drinks to create the perfect opener for dinners. Served Sunday to Friday from 4pm-8pm, enjoy two cocktails with an antipasti plate of traditional Italian nibbles for £15.

Whether it’s a romantic dinner for two or a catch-up meal with your mates, grab a table at one of our restaurants that offer some of the best canal views in the city. Opt for classic steaks at Miller & Carter, Mediterranean dishes at Bar Estilo, great tasting burgers at Gas Street Social or vegan treats at the meat-free BA-HA at Churchills.

For the perfect night out, we’re offering the chance to win a pair of tickets to the latest production of The King & I at The Alexandra Theatre along with dinner and an overnight stay for two at the stylish Malmaison.

“I’m bored”… the phrase guaranteed to panic even the most well-organised parent during summer. With six, long weeks on the horizon it can be tricky – not to mention pricey – finding enough activities to keep the little ones smiling. So check out our guide on keeping the kids fed, entertained and informed at the Mailbox this holiday.

Step Inside the Exciting World Of Broadcasting At BBC Birmingham

Take a tour behind the scenes of our BBC TV studios and discover what it takes to put together high quality news bulletins and radio drama … and even have a go at making your very own radio play.

The organised visits – on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10.30am and 1.00pm – last about an hour and a half, and offer all ages the chance to gain access to this rarely seen part of the media industry. They are fully accessible but any specific access requirements can be discussed in advance.

Available for those aged 12 and under, the menu also features fun colouring activities including designing your own handbag and trainers, and dot-to-dot high heels. Mains are priced from £4 and puddings are £3 and they can add a stylish mocktail or pressed juices, with prices starting from £5.
