Whether you’re trying Veganuary or simply craving some sweet treats, stir up your tastebuds with the very best dishes at Mailbox.

Go Vegan

Now, more than ever, a record number of people are starting to embrace a plant-based diet, and with ‘Veganuary’ being the word on everyone’s lips this month, we’ve got some amazing options for you to try.  Whether you’re going full greens-only or just incorporating a few meals in-between, these dishes all play the part in helping the environment, reducing meat demand and positively impacting on the planet.

Classic Zucca at Zizzi

If you’re fancying something individually Italian, then where better to head than Zizzi? Enjoy a tomato base with mozzarella alternative, made with coconut oil and topped with roasted butternut squash, caramelised onions and spinach. With plenty of extras on offer – including fire-roasted peppers, field mushrooms and balsamic tomatoes – you can personalise your pizza to your own taste.

Go to Gas Street Social

Offering more than your standard vegan menu options, Gas Street Social has an array of delicious dishes across various cuisines. Whether you’re keeping it healthy with a bulgur wheat salad, opting for peanut butter noodles or feeling brave with buffalo cauli ‘wings’ in hot sauce, they take plant-based to another level of flavour.

Stylish Dining

For added luxury, indulge in a three course feast at Harvey Nichols Brasserie, which recently introduced a new vegan menu. Available across all three courses, for starters you can choose from grilled mixed vegetables or spiced Asian soup, while mains include vegetable and red lentil curry or tofu club sandwich with rice paper bacon and vegan cheese. Tuck into a chocolate brownie for dessert or rose sorbet, proving that you don’t have to compromise on taste.

Feelin’ French

French-style restaurant Cafe Rouge already offers a huge variety for the whole family, and now there’s vegan mains to add to the choice. Favourites include the Moroccan vegetable tagine consisting of roasted courgette, chickpeas and spinach served alongside a spiced coriander couscous. You can also enjoy a spicy chickpea burger and vegetable parmentier depending on your mood.

A taste of India

For the main course, try Chez Mal at Malmaison’s take on the much-loved Indian bhuna. Packed with roast aubergine, winter squash and red peppers, served alongside fluffy pilaf rice and grilled Indian bread, it will satisfy those spicy needs to warm you up from the inside during the colder months.
